i would like to learn, comprehend, and speak a foreign language. mainly so i can listen to other people's conversation. but let's be perfectly honest here. this country has so many different cultures now with so many different languages. i'd like to be able to understand what is being said around me. so here are some languages i'd like to learn.
1. spanish - i'd love to know what hispanics are saying, when they we can't understand them. it's also the second most used language here in the u.s.
2. indian (hindi) - it just seems so exotic and interesting.
3. mandarin/chinese - our country is being taken over by china. with everything being "made in china" and with how much debt we owe them, it may be a great idea to have this language in your back pocket.
4. japanese - just seems like a fun language.
