1. hhh and stephanie mcmahon - my most favorite couple ever. i love how they got together, how they ruled together, how they broke up, and how they got together again! combine her arrogance, cunning and money with his strength, mental capacity, and skill and it can be dangerously entertaining. whether they are the mcmahon-helmsley regime or the authority, it's always fun.

2. lita and matt hardy/lita and edge - lita and matt were a great couple, even if they weren't that smart. everyone loved them. they were the sweethearts of the wwe. they represented all things good and right. she was the extreme punk princess and he was the high flyer. these two, along with jeff (matt's brother) did things in the ring that had never been done before. watching them fall in love, their first kiss, their fights, their break ups/make ups, then their eventual break up on the show and in real life: it was high entertainment. i thoroughly enjoyed it.

then real life became storyline. lita cheated on matt with edge at some point. it was all very dramatic and highly entertaining, because no one knew what the truth actually was. so wwe put lita with edge because she was being trashed on the internet as a slut. so they made her a heel and the lita/edge era began. these two were obnoxious, arrogant, cunning, scheming snakes. they made you hate them, which made you love them. they were greedy manipulative opportunists and didn't try to hide it. and they were hot and sexy while doing it. again, highly entertaining.

3. trish stratus and chris jericho (y2j) - their relationship started out as a bet between jericho and christian. whoever could bed trish or lita first would win a canadian dollar. it was really sweet. he bought her gifts, she talked to him like a friend. they escorted each other to their matches. it was all well and good until trish overheard them talking about the bet. he betrayed her, there was a battle of the sexes match, y2j actually fell for her, they kissed and made up, she got beat down by christian, then she turned on y2j at wrestlemania and left him for christian! this was all great storytelling. they made you care about them, and you weren't ashamed of it!

4. king booker and queen sharmell - king book-ah! i love when my black people show out! that is exactly what happened after booker won the king of the ring. whenever these two arrived on the scene, "all hail king booker", you knew funny was about to happen. they adopted these poor british accents. he wore a crown and royal cape, she had a crown and a beauty pageant dress. they had a "court", and everyone had a title. it was just pure comedy. i loved it!
